Our Lobby is closed but we ARE open!

During the continued Covid-19 pandemic we have made changes regarding how we provide care for your pets, but we are here for you and your pet.

There has been news about a cat and two dogs being infected, but there is no evidence of transmission from pets to humans. The infections in all cases were from human owners being sick and giving the pet the virus. If you become ill it is advised to limit contact with your pets, and preferable that someone else cares for them.

We would like to remind you that we have a full service online store for all your pets medical and food needs, they will deliver directly to your home so decreasing risk of exposure. We know you have options as to where you purchase but as a small business we ask that you consider supporting us and purchasing from our online store: Online Store

Hospital Care Policies:

  1. If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, have been quarantined, or are showing any signs of respiratory illness you are asked to have someone else bring your pet to the hospital and we are alerted to the facts
  2. If this is not possible you to find someone else to bring the pet to the hospital you must call to discuss with our infectious disease team if and how we can manage the situation – you may be referred to another facility
  3. We are unable to provide home visits for any reason.
  4. Our staff is allowed minimal interactions directly with clients. Clients are not allowed to enter our buildings. Patients are taken from clients in the parking lot. Our doctors and staff interact with the client by calling them on the phone while they remain in the car. At the end of any visit or hospital stay, patients are returned directly to the client in their vehicle. We prefer to have payment taken over the phone.
  5. Scheduled surgeries will be calling the day prior to go over estimates and consents with the client.
  6. Clients picking up from boarding need to call with payment prior to pick up.

We continue to monitor the situation and to follow any appropriate recommendations from federal, state and local officials. As this continues to be a very fluid situation our policies will change as we adapt to new information over time.
