Dr. Anthony Dallatore
Dr. Anthony Dallatore, VMD graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and is currently Chief of Staff at Hockessin Animal Hospital. Prior to working at Hockessin, he was an associate veterinarian at Windcrest Animal Hospital. Dr. Anthony has an interest in exotic animal medicine, internal medicine, surgery and dentistry. Dr. Anthony is the proud father of twin boys, Sebastian and Donte’. His wife, Mary Ann is a licensed veterinary technician. Dr. Anthony is from this area being born and raised in Wilmington. Dr. Anthony’s household has experienced several losses and additions recently. The Dallatore family includes Adalida an Australian Shepherd/Pit Bull mix, a senior Havenese mix Hairiette, and a three legged cockapoo named Dennis. In addition the Dallatore’s are tolerated by four cats Walter, Winifred, Wilhelmina and Graycie and a ferret Mocha. Dr. Anthony enjoys outdoor activities including hiking and fishing. Dr. Anthony and his family enjoy spending time at their small fishing cabin on the Conowingo Reservoir and are active in local scouting.
Dr. Carolyn Cassidy
Carolyn Cassidy, VMD graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and is currently a veterinarian at Windcrest and Hockessin Animal Hospitals. Dr. Cassidy’s areas of interest are medicine and ultrasonography. Dr. Cassidy has wanted to be a vet for as long as she can remember, with a strong desire to help and care for all animals. The memorable experiences of Dr. Cassidy’s are all associated with her saving an animal that was critically ill or had a poor prognosis. Dr. Cassidy’s family includes her husband Timothy and three daughters, Anna, Elizabeth, and Rebecca. Her family of animals includes her dog (Merlin) and cats (Princess, Pipi and Prince Caspian). Dr. Cassidy also enjoys gardening, cooking, running, cycling, skiing and hiking.
Dr. Stacey Creasey
Stacey Creasey, DVM, is an associate veterinarian at Hockessin Animal Hospital and is a 2004 graduate of Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Creasey has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Delaware. She has been an employee of the Windcrest Animal Hospital family since 1989; first starting as a kennel assistant, then working to reception and finally veterinary technician, prior to attending vet school. Her areas of interest include emergency medicine and dermatology. Dr. Creasey takes great pride and care in making sure that your pets stay healthy. To her, the most rewarding part of being a veterinarian is guiding an animal’s recovery process from illness or injury and then being able to discharge the animal back to their owner in a healthy and happy condition.
She currently resides in Hockessin with her husband Brett, and two sons, Cole and Austin. At home, Dr. Creasey’s feline family consists of five cats: George, Alley, Penny, Crushy and Minnie, all of whom are rescues. In her free time, Dr. Creasey enjoys traveling, spending time with her boys, CrossFit, and catching up on Netflix!
Dr. Janet Mitchell
Janet Mitchell, VMD graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and is currently an associate veterinarian of Hockessin Animal Hospital, with a special interest in dentistry. Dr. Mitchell has lived here in Hockessin since the mid-70’s attending H.B. DuPont middle school and A.I. DuPont High School. She received her undergraduate degree, B.S. in Zoology, from Clemson University in 1987. Dr. Mitchell finds helping people help their pets live happy, healthy lives the most rewarding part of her job. Dr. Mitchell is a member of the Delaware Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association since 1990. She served as president of the Delaware Veterinary Medical Association in 2003 and again in 2015. She was also a member of the Hockessin/Greenville Rotary from 1995 – 2011. Dr. Mitchell is a member of the local Hockessin Business Association.
Dr. Mitchell and her husband Jim own and operate the Woodside Farm Creamery in Hockessin. They milk their own Jersey cows and make homemade ice cream that they sell at the farm. Dr. Mitchell has a family of pets including her two cats, Squirt and Gracie, and two dogs, Jake (a bulldog) and Pippa (small mix breed).
